Electric Callboy are the most entertaining band in the world right now, not put out a bad song in last 3 years and live shows just a massive rave of metal & EDM riffs that fill audiences with a euphoria 😆🤘Was at their Denver show, and this is the song they close with and it sends people out the door with a great and positive mood!!

Hypa Hypa in Cologne is an outstanding performance of the song that made them go viral! Can’t recommend highly enough. My secret favorite live is MC Thunder in Berlin. Some of the stage banter is in German but I still thinking shows off their musicianship and exceptional crowd work. The Pump It and Spaceman lives on their channel are also good. They have an excellent FOH sound engineer, Bollo, who ensures quality. And any weird outfits you see are music video references- from the band or in the crowd. I’ve seen them 4 times and they’re outstanding.

Yes, the guys are very serious musicians but they know how to have fun. And no, they don’t normally look like this. The bowlcut-look is specific to 'We got the moves' and originates in the MV. It's usually the last song in their set. I hope you consider reacting to more Electric Callboy songs. 😄🙃 But...I made it my little 'mission' (as far as YT will let me anyways) to ease new reactors into the lore of EC a bit. So, if you want to take a look at what EC have done so far, you will have to catch up to 14 years of band history. I still dont like the mix, any version of it, whether stereo or Atmos. Its just dead, narrow and 'stuffy' feeling. I've read what the band says about it and disagree that it delivers what they claim. However I do love the song regardless. Its better than pretty much anything on the last 2 albums, so I have hope Yesterwynd will be great.

A really good live video to see of EC is Parasite. One of their more serious songs. It gives a broader view of their talents. They are from Germany and I noticed your reference to ramstein. They take themselves seriously but they also like to have fun and want others to have fun as well. You are the first person I have heard reference the Beatles regarding the bowl cut wigs which I hope they see because that was their first thought in designing the wigs. They were starting out new with Nico and so they wanted a new look with their hair reminiscent of the Beatles as well as matching outfits. I appreciate your reaction. Getting to know Electric Callboy over a Live-Video is the "harder" way. In their videos they put a lot of fun in it. And that ball cut wigs are a part in the video. They change their outfit for certain songs. So they do not only wear these wigs. But yeah, these are professionals and know exactly what they are doing. But apart from that they silly and goofy all the time. The classical approach to them is Hypa, Hypa (first success with their new clean vocalist Nico back in 2020) and "We got the moves" (most viewed video), which you already know, to get the references. If you prefer live videos there is a great Live video with Baby Metal Ratatata Foxfest 2024 (the official video is also funny)

They have a few quick wardrobe changes during their live set where they change into something similar to what they wore in the corresponding music video. In the actual music video for this song, they all have the bowl cut. They're all about having fun with their music and not taking themselves too seriously.

Eletric calboy formerly Eskimo calboy is from Germany They are the most professional fun band I have ever seen. Three weeks ago a video with "Electrik Calboy" X "Babymetal" with the song RATATATATA was uploaded on Babymetal's YT channel. Recommended👍

Asterism was backing up Metalverse on the latest Foxfest. I think Metalverse sang some Asterism songs as well if I got the right information. Metalverse is a spinoff thing from BABYMETAL. I mean plating on the same stage as BABYMETAL,Polyphia, Electric Callboy and Bilmuri is a huge thing for this young ppl! What I like with Hal-Ca on guitar is that she can be blistering fast and just to switch to make the guitar sings a moment later!

Kanami is the lead guitarist. She writes and arranges the songs. The bassist, Misa, can use a pick, slap, or pluck her bass. Kanami will tell her where she wants each technique. Kanami also lets Akane, drummer, know where she wants double pedal bass kicks at. Akane has worked very hard to be able to give Kanami as much double pedal as she wants. These ladies are all very good friends and rely on input from each other to make the band better.

Interesting to see the reaction of an expert. HAL-CA had attended Yamaha Music School since childhood and learned to play the drums, but switched to guitar after seeing Loudness perform live. She sometimes wore her hair in an imitation of that guitarist. When the members of Asterism entered a Yamaha music contest, the judges brought them together because they lived close to each other. There they all hit it off that they all liked Ozzy Osbourne.

This is from Japan. Other valid comparisons include Cream, Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan and ZZ Top. Hal-Ca not only has the chops, but the expressiveness of someone decades older. It's sort of scary.

Hal-Ca is a huge Loudness and especially Akira Takasaki fan herself. It even was, after seeing them live for the first time, when she "wanted to play the guitar like Akira Takasaki". She must have been 10 years old around that time. I think I read somewhere she was trying drums at first, but after that concert her parents bought her a cheap guitar and the rest is history. Btw, I think this was recorded in Japan, not in New York City.

She was 16 when the video was recorded. Their first album Ignition, was written by her. Blaze is the first track. That's talent

Great suggestions, "From Now On" and "Moratorium", but there are so many from these amazing ladies! Two milestone songs are "Thrill", the song that literally saved the band, and "Alone", the first song written, composed and arranged by the Maids allowed onto a album by their label of the time, then the rockets were lit and history was made!
